Starlight – Speedy Solutions Scrappy Pattern Workshop ©Designs by Lori Dickman
In this workshop, the student will use the “Starlight” pattern. This is a fabulous workshop for the student to learn the techniques taught in Lori’s book: “Speedy Solutions to Cut/Organize Your Scrap Stash”. The students will pull squares from their stash in various sizes and values of Lights, Mediums and Darks to create the beautiful Starlight Quilt! The quilt is made using one simple block: “Starlight.” Quilts can be made larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the number of Starlight blocks in the quilt.
During the workshop, Lori teaches more in-depth instruction on how to use her Speedy Solutions techniques to pull Scraps from the student’s own personal stash to use with many quilt patterns the student already owns in her quilt studio. Lori’s techniques are amazingly simple to incorporate for hundreds of patterns… what a wonderful way to use up our Scrap Stash to create beautiful quilts!
It is recommended that the Student have, and be familiar with, Lori’s “Speedy Solutions Techniques” book (shown in photo). By implementing the methods and techniques taught in Lori’s book, the student will have a scrap stash that has already been cut in various sizes and values to accommodate this class. However, the student can also simply use yardage to create her own beautiful “Starlight” quilt!
